About Us Ishanya Foundation
At Ishanya Foundation, we believe that every child deserves a world that understands, accepts, and empowers them. What began in 2014 with a single child has now grown into a trusted community supporting 50+ children and families across India.
Founded by parents who truly understand the journey of raising a child with autism, Ishanya stands today as a center of hope, compassion, and specialized care.
Our Journey
Our story began with Ishanya Special School, a place created to provide individualized autism education, therapy, and a nurturing environment tailored to each child’s needs. Over the past 10+ years, we have grown into a joyful learning community supported by experienced special educators, therapists, and caregivers.
As our children progressed, their needs evolved — and so did we. Families needed a safe, structured space where their children could continue learning, living, and growing beyond the classroom. This led to the creation of Ishanya Autism Village, Pune — one of India’s first residential village concepts for individuals with autism.
